How We Protect and Use Information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to secure your personal information. We only grant access to nonpublic, personally identifiable information about our customers to employees of Embed Clearing LLC, its affiliates, and third- party service providers contracted to assist in the servicing of your accounts.
In order to assist in the servicing of your accounts, we may share some of your personal information with certain third-party service providers we have contracted with to support our operations such as data storage, payment, analytics, and fraud prevention. All third-party service providers are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. We will only disclose this information as permitted or compelled to do so by law.
We have implemented authentication procedures, encryption processes, and firewall barriers in order to ensure the safety of your electronic interactions and protect your information from unauthorized access. California Residents
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") imposes certain obligations on businesses and allows a resident to make certain requests to a business regarding the personal information the business maintains. However, the CCPA does not apply to all business or personal information. Since we are a financial institution subject to GLBA, and the type of personal information we collect is covered by a CCPA exemption, the CCPA does not apply to us.
