Embed Clearing LLC is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. Our goal is to help you understand how we collect and use the information you provide to us. Whether you are a current or former customer, our practices are the same.
Collection and Use of Information
All financial companies need to share customers personal information to conduct their everyday business. We may collect personal information such as full name, social security number, bank account number, and email address, through electronic applications to service your account. We use your personal information to verify your identity when accessing our services, compare information to verification of our records, and to detect and prevent fraud or criminal activities.
How We Protect and Use Information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to secure your personal information. We only grant access to nonpublic, personally identifiable information about our customers to employees of Embed Clearing LLC, its affiliates, and third- party service providers contracted to assist in the servicing of your accounts.
In order to assist in the servicing of your accounts, we may share some of your personal information with certain third-party service providers we have contracted with to support our operations such as data storage, payment, analytics, and fraud prevention. All third-party service providers are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. We will only disclose this information as permitted or compelled to do so by law.
We have implemented authentication procedures, encryption processes, and firewall barriers in order to ensure the safety of your electronic interactions and protect your information from unauthorized access. For more information about our electronic access terms and conditions, please see our Electronic Access Agreement.
We respect your privacy and take seriously our obligations under the Gramm Leach Bliley Act ("GLBA") and the Security and Exchange Commission's Reg S-P.
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") imposes certain obligations on businesses and allows a resident to make certain requests to a business regarding the personal information the business maintains. However, the CCPA does not apply to all business or personal information. Since we are a financial institution subject to GLBA, and the type of personal information we collect is covered by a CCPA exemption, the CCPA does not apply to us.
If you have any questions about your personal information or about our privacy policies and practices, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
